You need to create a report that includes the following information:
    - The servers that run applications and services that can be moved to Windows Server 2012 R2
    - The servers that have hardware that can run Windows Server 2012 R2
    - The servers that are suitable to be converted to virtual machines hosted on Hyper- V hosts that run Windows Server
    2012 R2
Solution: From an existing server, you run the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT).
    Does this meet the goal?

Dear visitor, you need to Register or Login to view links on Certify Chat.

A global query block list is used to reduce vulnerability associated with dynamic DNS updates.

But you need to protect the cache from cache poisoning attacks. Cache locking is a new feature available if your DNS server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher. When you enable cache locking, the DNS server will not allow cached records to be overwritten for the duration of the time to live (TTL) value. Cache locking provides for enhanced security against cache poisoning attacks.

    So its C.

The Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT) is a lifecycle management tool that assists in identifying and managing your overall application portfolio, reducing the cost and time involved in resolving application compatibility issues, and helping you quickly deploy Windows and Windows updates.
    Usage
    With the ACT, you can:

    • Analyze your portfolio of applications, websites, and computers
    • Evaluate operating system deployments, the impact of operating system updates, and your compatibility with websites
    • Centrally manage compatibility evaluators and configuration settings
    • Rationalize and organize applications, websites, and computers
    • Prioritize application compatibility efforts with filtered reporting
    • Add and manage issues and solutions for your enterprise-computing environment
    • Deploy automated mitigations to known compatibility issues
    • Send and receive compatibility information from the Microsoft Compatibility Exchange

    The question states:

You need to create a report that includes the following information:
    - The servers that run applications and services that can be moved to Windows Server 2012 R2
    - The servers that have hardware that can run Windows Server 2012 R2
    - The servers that are suitable to be converted to virtual machines hosted on Hyper- V hosts that run Windows Server
    2012 R2

So you need Map.The Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit (MAP) is an agentless, automated, multi-product planning and assessment tool for quicker and easier desktop, server and cloud migrations. MAP provides detailed readiness assessment reports and executive proposals with extensive hardware and software information, and actionable recommendations to help organizations accelerate their IT infrastructure planning process, and gather more detail on assets that reside within their current environment. MAP also provides server utilization data for Hyper-V server virtualization planning; identifying server placements, and performing virtualization candidate assessments.

    So the answer is no.

This question consists of two statements: One is named Assertion and the other is named Reason. Both of these statements may be may be true; both false; or
one may be true, while the other may be false.
To answer this question, you must first evaluate whether each statement is true on its own. If both statements are true, then you must evaluate whether the Reason
(the second statement) correctly explains the Assertion (the first statement). You will then select the answer from the list of answer choices that matches your
    evaluation of the two statements.
You plan to migrate users between two Active Directory Domain Services domains in different forests.
You run the following command from an administrative command prompt:
    Netdom trust
    <TrustingDomainName> /domain: <TrustedDomainName> /quarntine: No
    /usero:<domainadminstrator> passwordo:<domainadminpwd>
    Assertion:
Users will have uninterrupted access to the resources in the source domain during the migration.
    Reason:
The Netdom command configures a two-way trust between the source and target domains to ensure that users can access both environments for the entire length
    of the migration phase.
Evaluate the Assertion and Reason statements and choose the correct answer option.
    A. Both the Assertion and Reason are true, and the Reason is the correct explanation for the Assertion.
    B. Both the Assertion and Reason are true, but the Reason is not the correct explanation for the Assertion.
    C. The Assertion is true, but The Reason is false.
    D. The Assertion is false, but the Reason is true.
    E. Both the Assertion and the Reason are false.

    Correct Answer: C

Why the answer isn't A I see that both are correct?

You need the parameter /twoway in order to create 2-way trust, otherwise, it's one way only. /quarantine:no means accept any sid. As a result, it becomes unrestricted.

if you did the sysprep, it becomes oobe which is basically a template/blank VM. it defeats the purpose of cloning. You don't need to add a drive for cloning. Therefore, ABE is correct although E is not necessary unless you suspect certain apps are not compatible for cloning. Option E is a pre-caution and generally a good idea to run.

    QUESTION 77
Two modes of operation are available when deploying WDS.
Which of the following are not included in those modes? (Choose two.)

    A. Deployment
    B. Image Response
    C. Transport
    D. Capture

I think the dump is wrong. WDS can be deployed in 2 modes Deployment Server and Transport Server.
So the answer should be B,D since the question is asking for what modes are NOT included.

Image Response and transport are modes. Deployment and transport are roles.

You can find this in the MCSE 70-413: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure book.

I have a national diploma in chemical engineering, and I just obtained my MCSE yesterday. How can I make my MCSE work for me guys? I think it might end up being useless, of which I don't want it to happen.

Just took this exam in The Netherlands, after studying the CertifyChat November 2015 VCE.
    Passed with 835!

Of the 35 multiple chpice questions, maybe 3 or 4 new questions, and one where the server roles were on different servers then in the VCE mentioned. Tricky!
Had to do three scenarios, all in the VCE mentioned (Woodgrove Bank, Alpine Skihouse, and another I already forgot!). Just one new question.

    Thanks for the great VCE!
