Fibercool I can also help compiling in one vce file if you need the help.
I've done it before, it's time consuming, so two are always better than one.

This is another question i dont agree:

Q50) from forbiden:

Your network contains an Active Directory forest named contoso.com. The forest contains a member
server named Server1 that runs Windows Server 2016. All domain controllers run Windows Server
2012 R2.

Contoso.com has the following configuration:

You plan to deploy an Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) farm on Server1 and to configure
device registration. You need to configure Active Directory to support the planned deployment.
Solution: You upgrade a domain controller to Windows Server 2016.

Does this meet the goal?
A. Yes
B. No

It says A) in forbiden and grubberz, but i think correct answer is B)

We have domain and schema functional level of 2008R2, an we need this:

Domain functional-level requirements
  • All user account domains and the domain to which the AD FS servers are joined must be operating at the domain functional level of Windows Server 2003 or higher.

  • A Windows Server 2008 domain functional level or higher is required for client certificate authentication if the certificate is explicitly mapped to a user's account in AD DS.
Schema requirements
  • New installations of AD FS 2016 require the Active Directory 2016 schema (minimum version 85).

  • Raising the AD FS farm behavior level (FBL) to the 2016 level requires the Active Directory 2016 schema (minimum version 85).
Upgrading a domain controller does NOT automatically upgrade the functional level. It simply installs server 2016 and leaves the FFL intact.

So for me the answer is B.

Any ideas/opinions?

For question 182 your answer is correct but for question 183 the answer is 255.255.255.224
For Question 187, the gateway would be (the first router) 10.10.0.1 and the webserver would log the request as coming from the NAT (internet side) 131.107.0.10

I understand now, we only need to update the schema, so updating a DC to 2016 will update the schema to version 85.

That means that next question 51). should be YES:

Solution: You run adprep.exe from the Windows Server 2016 installation media.
Does this meet the goal?

Anyone agree on that?

No is the answer, clearly all the Domain controllers are in 2012 R2 and the domain controllers should be 2016. Once all Domain controllers updated to 2016 then run adprep for upgrading the Domain functional level to 2016

No is the answer, clearly all the Domain controllers are in 2012 R2 and the domain controllers should be 2016. Once all Domain controllers updated to 2016 then run adprep for upgrading the Domain functional level to 2016
Schema of the forest is not the same as functional level.

We can have an updated schema (thats what adprep do) but not the functional level, you can do that later.

If i check the requirements of AD FS 2016: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/identity/ad-fs/overview/ad-fs-requirements

We have this:

Domain controller requirements <---- OK
  • AD FS requires Domain controllers running Windows Server 2008 or later.
  • At least one Windows Server 2016 domain controller is required for Microsoft Passport for Work. (we need device registration no MS passport)
Domain functional-level requirements <---- OK
  • All user account domains and the domain to which the AD FS servers are joined must be operating at the domain functional level of Windows Server 2003 or higher.
  • A Windows Server 2008 domain functional level or higher is required for client certificate authentication if the certificate is explicitly mapped to a user's account in AD DS.
Schema requirements <------ OK
  • New installations of AD FS 2016 require the Active Directory 2016 schema (minimum version 85).
  • Raising the AD FS farm behavior level (FBL) to the 2016 level requires the Active Directory 2016 schema (minimum version 85).
Another helpful link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-R2-and-2012/dn486819(v=ws.11)

Its for 2012R2, but the interesting part is this one:

If you plan to deploy Device Registration Service (DRS) for AD Workplace Join as a part of your AD FS deployment, the AD DS schema needs to be updated to the Windows Server 2012 R2level. There are three ways to update the schema:
  1. In an existing Active Directory forest, run adprep /forestprep from the \support\adprep folder of the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system DVD on any 64-bit server that runs Windows Server 2008 or later. In this case, no additional domain controller needs to be installed, and no existing domain controllers need to be upgraded.

To run adprep/forestprep, you must be a member of the Schema Admins group, the Enterprise Admins group, and the Domain Admins group of the domain that hosts the schema master.

  2. In an existing Active Directory forest, install a domain controller that runs Windows Server 2012 R2. In this case, adprep /forestprep runs automatically as part of the domain controller installation.

During the domain controller installation, you may need to specify additional credentials in order to run adprep /forestprep.

  3. Create a new Active Directory forest by installing AD DS on a server that runs Windows Server 2012 R2. In this case, adprep /forestprep does not need to be run because the schema will be initially created with all the necessary containers and objects to support DRS.

You need to implement network virtualization.
On which object should you configure the virtual subnet ID?
A. Virtual switch
B. Hyper-V server
C. VM
D. Virtual network adapter
Answer: A

I believe the answer for this question is D

Set-VmNetworkAdapter will give you the Virtual Subnet ID number. On Virtual Switch you give a VLAN ID and that's for management only.

NEW QUESTION 294
Your network contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com that contains a domain controller named DC1. All DNS servers for the network run BIND 10. Your perimeter network contains a DHCP server named DHCP1 that runs Windows Server 2016. DHCP1 is a member of a workgroup named WORKGROUP. DHCP1 provides IP address leases to guests accessing the Wi-Fi network. Several engineers access the network remotely by using a VPN connection to remote access server that runs Windows Server 2016. All of the VPN connections use certificate-based authentication and are subjects to access policies in Network Policy Server (NPS). Certificates are issued by an enterprise certification authority (CA) named CA1. All Windows computers on the network are activated by using Key Management Service (KMS). On-premises users use Remote Desktop Services (RDS). You plan to deploy IP Address Management (IPAM) to the network. Which action can you perform on the network by using IPAM?

A. Audit user and device logon event from NPS.
B. Audit configuration changes to the remote access server.
C. Audit logon event on the RDS server.
D. Manage activations on the KMS server.
